Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Child S Spine Below Shoulders

Hi two days ago I discovered a swelling on my child s spine just below her shoulders - it is about the size of an apricot half and is soft and spongy. It is not so noticeable when she is upright but when she bends her head forward the lump protrudes more and is harder. She also has a similar swelling directly below this is smaller, it looks like it is spreading down her spine. She has no pain or symptoms of anything. I am going to book an ultrasound tomorrow and then will go back to the GP. He said it looks a lipoma but I am still very worried. Can you please let me know what it could be?
