Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Right Hand And Knee

Hi my name is Debra, my doctor put me on this new medications for Arthritis. can u explain to me about this meds. 1. hydroxychloroquine tab 2. sulfasalazine 500mg. 3.omeprazole capsules 40mg. I explain to him about the swelling in my right hand and also my left knee. this is what he put me on / also I am still taken prednisone and methotrexate 2.5 mg

Hello,

As the Medications provided to you by the doctor is for the pain relief by reducing the inflammation. This is the medicines for Rheumatoid arthritis. Also, Omeprazole is used for the gastric issues which are caused due to Medications above.

For the pain and swelling the medicines are provided. You will advise for the Rheumatoid factor test which will be good to understand that you have rheumatoid arthritis or not. Also, simple hot water fermentation and range of motion exercises along with strengthening exercises should provide good benefits.
