Suggest Treatment For Swelling, Itching And Pain In Forearms

I went to the park with my son and i gripped the metal bars on the playground equiptment. My hands have been swollen and itchy with pain for two days now, along with some more larger bumps apppearing on my forearms and the rest of my body being itchy. I have never had a reaction like this prior to that day.

This could be one of many different conditions. My guess would be an allergic reaction to the metal you touched, or some other substance coating the surface of the equipment via contact from another person or the metal manufacturer. It could also be something else such as allergic reaction to foods, bug bites, etc. I highly recommend follow up with your primary care physician. He/she will most likely prescribe you some sort of topical corticosteroid and or even prednisone or some other oral steroid.
