Suggest Treatment For Swelling Of Left Eye And Cheek After Popping A Pimple

I had a whitehead ppimpleon the left side of my nose popped it and it seems to have formed some type of infection n swelled so much it swelled my left eye lids almost shut and also swelled my left cheek the opening where had the pimple tripled in size and is a huge open Head. What could of caused this infection, is it an abscess, staph, or some kind of bacterial infection? What Can i Do to treat it or get rid of it? will it spread more if i try to pop it? Or do i squeeze it like a pimple to try to pop it, do i just slightly put pressure on it to try to drain it, or will it pop alone or go away by itself with antibiotics?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having folliculitis producing infection, induration and cellulitis giving this problem.
You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course.
Do not try to prick it or drain the pus as it might aggravate the condition.
After proper cleaning apply antibiotic cream.
Consult your doctor and go for treatment as early as possible.
Ok and take care.
