Dear, the swelling of the right lower limb could be due to two reasons.
First DVT that means
blood clots in the veins which blocks the blood flow and increases the pressure inside the blood vessels. This leads to the leakage of the plasma into the tissues surrounding the veins causing swelling and pain.
Second cause could be an expanding
hematoma, means an
injury to the one of your leg vessels thereby leaking blood into the surrounding tissues. Usually if this injury is not very severe, it heals spontaneously but as your blood pressure is high, it can interfere with the healing of the vessel and cause continuous leakage of blood.
Now coming to
high BP, but you are not having any symptoms! could be due to the fact that the high BP could have been there for quite a time so that your body has adapted to it. But still it needs to be evaluated and treated.
With these possibilities, I would like to get an urgent
ultrasonography and a colour Doppler of your right lower limb and treat accordingly.
Simultaneously, to get a ultrasonography of the kidneys and renal Doppler to rule out the secondary causes of the high BP. Also get your kidney function tests and eye check up done.
And then start antihypertensives as per the reports.
