General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Pronounced swelling of both legs from knee down to feet and ankles could be due to many causes like hypertension, cardiac or renal diseases or sitting of longer hours. The stiffness and blotchy rash could be due to pronounced swelling which causes pressure on the skin which again might lead to dryness and itching.
If the symptoms started recently after starting Combivent (as it was started one month ago) and before that this swelling or rash was not observed, drug interaction also must be ruled out. Hence, it is advisable to visit your nearby healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
