My left ankle Stella each day,it,s been increasing since I last saw my primary in April. I am away from home at a summer residense and have an apt. With the primary in sept. I take 10. My of amlodipine daily with hctz. Should I be concerned enough to see a dr.?

Amlodipine can also cause ankle edema as side effect. Hypoproteinemia, anemia, hypothyroidism etc are other causes for ankle edema. So consult doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring, hemoglobin estimation, thyroid function test and serum protein level.
