Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Face And Sore Throat

I have been dealing with a toothache for 4 days. Couldn t sleep . Went to Doctor because I couldn t get in with a dentist. He gave me pain pills and anti biotic. Then woke up with swelling on the side of my face. Soar throat, now looks red. Went to dentist. He did nothing. Just seems to be getting worse

Thanks for putting your query over here.
It is quite possible that you have got sinusitis because of dental infection.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Antibiotic like Augmentin for 5 days.(prescription drug),antihistaminics like cetrizine and analgesics
- Salt water gargles.
-Cold compression on swollen area of face for 15 minutes for 3-4 times in a day.
-Adequate intake of fluids especially warm fluids like soups.
