Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Left Eye

Hello. My baby head butted my left brow bone on Friday and my left eye has been swollen ever since. I ve been putting ice on it through out the day and it gets better but when I go to sleep and wake up it s swollen all over again. Is this typical? What else can I do to help the swelling go down? Or is this something else?
