Suggest Treatment For Swelling Up Of The Scrotum

My husband was diagnosed with cat scratch disease about 5 weeks ago and has had a lot of trouble with his leg swelling up and with red patches all over it , and now his scrotum area is swollen up like a balloon and is causing him a lot of trouble. we are trying to find out if it is because of the cat scratch or is it something that we do not know about that is even more serious. Please help us with this

Hello. Cat scratch disease can lead to swollen lymph nodes and fever. The swelling of scrotum may or may not be related to cat scratch. The lymph nodes near the scratch gets swollen. One possibility is lymphatic blockage and swelling of scrotum. In any case get examined by a surgeon at the earliest and he may require to undergo a minor surgery for hydrocele.
