General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your short history about swimmers ears, drops, medicines but the pain is severe enough not allowing to sleep.
This indicates that the infection is too much, and the fungus is growing inside and there may be a secondary infection.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for proper diagnosis by doing endoscopy of ears.
Get started on proper antibiotic, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory medications. Painkillers separately may be required.
Do not go for swimming.
Avoid contact of ears with water.
Cleaning or suctioning done by an ENT Surgeon will help you further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
