Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of severe pain in the abdomen in the left lower side, feeling like something is scrapping the inside of abdomen. You were diagnosed as small hernia. There is a lot of abdominal swelling and soreness at naval. The probable diagnosis is obstruction in the hernia, may be with strangulation causing such a severe pain and distension. I would advise you the following: Rush to ER or a Hospital. Get Standing X-ray of the abdomen to see the reason for distension and level of obstruction . Since you may need an emergency Surgery, do not take anything orally. You may need to have admission, intravenous fluids and antibiotics, Surgery hence go prepared. Do nothing at home.
