HOW LONG CAN I STAY ON PREDNESONE FOR SWELLING OF THE EYES ALLERGY RELATED - START 40MG FOR 3 DAYS -30MG FOR 3 DAYS- 20MG FOR 3DAYS - 15MG FOR 3 DAYS - 10 MG FOR 3 DAYS - 5 MG FOR 3 DAYS- 1MG EVERY 2ND DAY - STOP THIS IS WORKING BUT I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS A DOSE THAT IS TAKEN EVERY DAY TO KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL -

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergies , conjunctivitis , styes and chalazion . Soemtimes fatigue and water retention can also cause such symptoms . I would suggest you to wash your eyes with normal water and apply cold compresses on them , avoid any cosmetic product on face and avoid food like nuts and sea food . Also take antihistamine like benadryl twice a day , take proper sleep and lower your salt comsumption . If condition persist for 1-2 days then consult opthalmologist for proper chechup . Doctor may prescribe eye drops containing anti allergic , anti bacterial or anti viral . Doctor may also examine your eyes for some foreign body and remove it .
