Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been to my dr 4 times for foot swelling I have not been injured and they put it down to insect bites, this didn't make sense as I had been bitten on both legs but only 1 foot was swelling, they eventually ran bloods to test liver and kidney function which came back normal. I have today developed a tingling and burning sensation in the calf when I have sat for a long time and there has been pressure on the back of my leg at the top and there is a cramping feeling aswell at the top of my leg. The Dr said there is evidence of minor vericose veins, I am being sent for more bloods tomorrow to check for clots and a scan. Any ideas?
