Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Legs After Injury

I fell today and landed on my left side, It felt like something pulled or clicked in my upper left leg. I have been able to walk on it but it is painful and seems to be somewhat swollen. I have been putting ice packs on it, but am not sure what I should do. what would you recommend?
