Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Lump On The Leg

I have felt weak and shaky for two days. I am also nauseous. I went to doc for a swollen hump on my left leg on Wed. Hump is also very tender and painful. I have a chronic pain condition and fibromyalgia and inflammation in most of my joints but all blood work is negative for auto immune. Had ultrasound on leg and calf but no blood clot, I have had a blood clot before. PCP referred me to orthopedic surgeon and am going on Monday I feel so weak, I can t really get out of bed. Any ideas? Also have hypertension.

Thanks for the query to HCM.I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns.
Treatment for the painful lump on the leg-
In my opinion your-treatment for hump on the leg with the PCP,has induced the nausea and weakness-which are the side effects of the NSAIDS used for painkilling.
So you should not be concerned much as it would resolve by treatment with ER -Physician, who would pin point the cause for the weakness and nausea as above.
He would also rule out the labile high blood pressure- which could be increasing and causing noticeable- nausea and weakness , which you have lately.Hence you should investigate it with your ER Physician and Ortho-Surgeon,who would treat it according to its cause.
From your facts of the query-In my opinion-above is the plan of treatment which I would advise you.
So take treatment from your ER Physician- and Ortho-Surgeon, who would treat it after due investigations and treat it accordingly.
This advise is based on the facts from the history you give and needs further clinical check.
Hence I would advise you to check with ER Physician and Ortho- Surgeon.
So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you.
