Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Penis After Intercourse
I had as sex with a girl at a festival and after sex my foreskin had folded behind the head of my penis, at first I didn t realise but afterwards I found that my frenulum had swollen and couldn t manage to pull my foreskin back over the head of my penis, it produces a warm burning sensation which is irritable. What should I do?
Swelling of frenulum could be due to trauma caused during intercourse. I suggest you to avoid sexual intercourse for few days to allow the swelling to settle.
If the foreskin cannot be pulled back then you need to consult an urologist to rule out phimosis - a condition wherein the foreskin cannot be retracted back over the glans.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
