Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Tonsils

Hey my tonsils are swollen and they appear to have craters in them. I believe they also have white coatings in some places, but I can t tell for sure. My throat has been killing me for the past seven days now; it hurts to breathe, talk and swallow. Prior to this I had a migraine for nine days. My symptoms have been headache, tiredness, throat pain, and I ve recently developed coughing and dry mouth and throat. Could it be tonsillitis? Thanks!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
welcome to healthcaremagic
yes, it can be tonsillitis. Your description fits very well in that diagnosis. another feature that is seen in acute condition is neck node.
white membrane /dots what you are mentioning can be food debris. I don't think you should worry about that.
Just take a course of antibiotics of penicillin group with clav acid and Disprin gargles three times a day. paracetamol can be taken whenever there is pain or fever
get well soon.
