Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Sensitive Skin Below The Eyes

I ve got something just below my eye. I ve had it for years, and kept forgetting to ask a doctor. In the last 3-4 days it s swollen and changed to a yellow/white color. It s swollen enough to enter my field of vision. It s also sensitive, at least for the surrounding area. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to take Loratadine. This would help in the case there is some allergic reaction causing the swelling of the eyelid. If in 7-10 days you notice no improvement you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
