Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankles, With Painful Blister On One Toe

My feet and ankles have been swelling up especially at night. My Dr. says quit adding salt and I have but not real restrictive with it, just not adding table salt. He prescribed Lasix as a diuretic to reduce the swelling. Today my feet are swollen and my toes look plumb but my concern is that one toe looks like it has a blister on top and is a bit painful. Condition has been ongoing for six months. Bloodwork looks OK but close to borderline on some things. Don t want to be concerned for nothing but don t want to cut my toe off because I ignored it. Any concerns here? Age 57 male, 240 pounds, think I m pretty healthy.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, renal disease being suspected then underlying cause and etiology is must to be known and it needs therapy accordingly, of course diuretic can be continue but it is not the curative symptoms hope this information helps.
