Suggest Treatment For Swollen Face,eyes And Throat After Head Injury
I was hit under the chin and my top teeth cut into my lower lip the next morning my right eye was swollen shut and just the right side of my face was swollen mhy throat was irritated. the swelling gradually went down that day nad the next morning when I awoke my left eye was swollen and the right side of my face and I had what seemed like larengitis I could not talk this too wnet away by the end of he day. the
third morning today, when I awoke the swelling was almost gone and the throat was fine. could the head injury effect me this way. Note: the second day I took benedryl 3 xs
Since these symptoms of swelling, pain, and laceration of the lower lip occurred after being struck in the head....sounds like an injury either following a sporting incident or assault/accident....then, the answer to your question is YES...The head injury could affect you in these ways. Not sure why you would take Benadryl for this type of picture since it is NOT anti-inflammatory or even analgesic...perhaps, you took it to try and get to sleep due to the effect it causes of drowsiness?
