Suggest Treatment For Swollen Glands In Neck And Collar Bone
Hi I have a slight swollen gland on my neck and on my collar bone. Thereby thought it may be from my ear plugs because my ear was a little raw from ear plug use every night. A week ago I started antibiotics and Davy on the ear. The glands are still slightly swollen. Do you think it just needs more time. Or it s somthing else. The ear is still a little tender if I really push on the spot. But I m worried because the glands have not gone down at all.
HI. Yes, the lymph nodes - glands can be secondary to infection in the ears due to ear plugs causing Otitis Externa in spite it may not be very frank. Nothing to worry- take a course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines for 1 to 3 weeks, If this resolves , fine. If does not- go for FNAC- fine needle aspiration cytology and other investigations. Nothing to do with the Sensory system.
