Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node On My Jaw Bone

I woke up thur. morning with a swollen lymph node on my jawbone left side. Also I felt bad, sore and felt stiff in my neck and back. I have several blister looking sores on my forehead, nose and top of my head. The sores don t itch or drain and they weren t there when I went to bed the evening before. The sores seem hard and on inspection are red but seem to have a pussie center, my eye brow, nose and eye lid is swollen as is my jaw near that lymph node. No fever, but neck is painful and sores too. I ve recently had kidney stones and ct scan shows gall stones as well.

Hi,

Noted your history of swelling on left jawbone, sores on forehead, scalp and nose, painful neck, no fever, have kidney and gall bladder stones.
Your history is suggestive of one of the following:
If the sores are on one side of face and scalp then this may be due to Herpes Zoster.
Other reasons can be evaluated by a clinical examination by your Doctor, relevant investigations and so on.
If the swelling on a jawbone is a lymph node then it needs an ultrasonography and FNAC.
If this is salivary gland then to see for the cause like infection or stone.,
Also ask for the tests of blood.
All these will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management as per the cause found.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
