Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes Along Jaw Line

Just a style in my lower eyelid , but has lasted for 4 weeks at least, though at one point it almost went away. It doesn't bother me but looks unattractive. I use warm compresses .
Now I feel swollen lymph nodes on my jaw line /neckline toward my chin.
Is that related? I don't want to take oral antibiotics unless necessary.

Hi.
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain stye is an infection of Sebaceous gland over the eyelid and moderate to severe infection can lead to swelling of the lymph nodes which drain from the infected area..

As the infection has now reduced but the lymph nodes takes a comparatively longer time to resolve and you may also require a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin for resolution of the lymph nodes..
Do alternate warm and cool compresses over the lymph nodes..

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards..
