Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Groin Area

I have several swollen lymph nodes in the groin on my right side. The largest one is about the size of a small olive. I have a past of irregular periods, also including vomiting, fever, and heavy menstrual cycle. Also, after intercourse I ve experienced pain (6 our of 10 on pain scale). When I touch the swollen, lump area, it is tender and feelings almost like a bruise, but does not go down in size, the lump either remains the same size or is getting larger. I first noticed these lumps two weeks ago and they ve increased in size and more have became noticeable. I ve also been experiencing joint/muscle pain in my spine into my neck and also in my right thigh/leg region. I ve also been experiencing night fevers and my pulse seems to feel weakened. My family history consists of many females on both sides of my family having ovarian cancerous cysts along with numerous other members with arthritis.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Based on your symptoms list the possibility of gonorrhoea has to be ruled out.for this vaginal swab is required to confirm or rule out.It is better you consult a qualified gynaecologist who can decide the line of treatment after confirming the diagnosis. arthritis is also one of the serious complication of gonorrhoea. This requires strong antibiotic and follow up is important till the whole infection is cured.
Gonorrhea passes from person to person through unprotected oral, anal, or vaginal sex. People with numerous sexual partners or those who don’t use a condom are at greatest risk of infection. The best protections against infection are abstinence, monogamy (sex with only one partner), and proper condom usage.
If this is ruled out other infections like infectious mono nucleosis,AIDS OR hernia are the conditions with similar symptoms to be considered.
