Suggest Treatment For Swollen Shin After Injury

Hit my shin with a wrench with a lot of pressure behind it. My shin has been swollen for a week now and now it feels like a huge needle is going 4ight through the middle 9f the swollen spot and it s just now starting to show a bruise. Is this normal ?

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You recently injured you shin by hitting it with t wrench. The shin is now shiny and a bruise appearing. This is very normal and not anything to be concerned about. The bruise may take about 1-2 weeks to completely resolve. No additional treatments are necessary
