Suggest Treatment For Swollen Testicles

Torsion or? Woke up one morning and sat on my right testicle, didn't think anything of it till later in the afternoon when it started hurting real bad. I brushed it off, as i have done this a few times in the past (sitting on a testicle), and the pain went away after a few minutes. This time was different though. After 5 days, it's now the size of an egg, and hurts severly, i'd say a good 8 on the 1-10 scale. My father a retired military nurse suggested testicular torsion, and said to try anti-biotics. Well, it's been 4 days since i started taking 500mg of penicillin, and 250mg of naproxen with no noticable changes.

I really appreciate your concern antibiotic can only be given when there is infection, else this would not helped in pain, this could be epididymitis, scrotal support is must and for that you need to wear the brace for this, and along with this Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg and Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day, this would be helpful for you, if this does not improved the this may need clinical examination and investigations, take care, have a nice day.
