Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils And Lymph Nodes Under Jaw
hello Dr,i have a swolen toncil and lymph node right under my jaw on the same side. I also very rarely get a ear pain on the same side. its not a sharp pain but can definately tell something isnt right. i dont have problems swallowing but yet it does feel a little tighter in my throat. I have already been placed on amoxacillan for strep throat which did not fix the problem. They have also done blood test on me and everything cam back fine. hoping its nothing serious considering im 27 years old. any ideas on what that could be?/
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
As per your details, it appears to be chronic tonsillitis (recurrent episodes of tonsillitis ) always will have tonsillar hypertrophy and lymph node enlargement).
I suggest you to see an ent surgeon for evaluation and treatment. you may require medications(antibiotics or surgery depending on the findings Hope, I have answered your query.
