Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils, Fever And Constant Cold
My ton0sils are really swollen. They are touching my uvula. They have also cause me headache s pain in my ears. Fever making me constantly cold. This started 2 days ago and I haven t been able to eat or drink anything since then. It hurts when I swallow. Is this something I should get checked?

The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as sore throat along with tonsillitis . This can occur due to bacterial as well as viral infection . It seems to me that in your case the infection in probably viral and infection has already spread to ear through eustachian tube . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper checkup . Doctor may order certain test to confirm the diagnosis like virus culture test . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir along with anti histamine . Doctor may also recommend tonsillectomy if tonsil will interfere with normal functioning of pharynx and treatment will not going to work .
