Hi I went to my GP as I have a swollen what seems like a vein under my arm pit which is around 2 long and very soar !! My go put me on 500mg flucloxacillan but it has not gone away !! I tried putting a hot facecloth with soap & sugar like the old fashioned poltis on it but nothing has happened I m very concerned what is this

Well, antibiotics may help only if there is inflammation called thombophlebitis and in other cases it wont be beneficial-so you need to do dopler ultrasound to see if this is just varicose vein or something else.
