Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I need a neurologist s opinion on this. I have a son that had had some brain injury with brain bleed due to an accident at work. He is about a month into recovery. He has been off the vent for about a week but still has a trach. He has not been awake most of the time but is slowly waking up and seems to be tracking with his eyes most of the time. He has periods now where I feel he is having anxiety attacks. He starts pulling off his leads on his chest, starts pulling his gown off and is very hard to handle but then it passes for a little while. Could this be anxiety attacks or a type of anxiety? What does this sound like?

Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Anxiety
Hi, Prozac and Xanax are the best medicine to treat anxiety and panic attack. You can take it as per requirement and improvement. You will take Xanax as when required when you feel panic. And if you have improved with these medicines then please continue to take it for maintenance. You can take Lopressor along with these medicines on the same day. You can take it both together there is no problem with it. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
