Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Black Widow Bite In Armpit
I have what I think may be a black widow bite in my armpit, and I ve applied ice on the bite but I m not sure if it s a black widow bite or not, I noticed it only a few minutes ago and the reason I think it might be a black widow bite was because I was lifting old boxes, and saw a few while carrying them.

You are suffering from symptoms of black widow bite in the armpit. You are suggested to wash the area with plain water thoroughly. You can use an antibacterial soap. Apply a cold washcloth or ice pack wrapped in cloth to the area affected for relieve. Applying ice may relieve pain and swelling. Take pain reliever, like Acetaminophen, Tylenol, one stat when needed after food.
If the bite is on your armpit, keep it elevated as much as possible to prevent swelling. Apply an antibiotic cream (Soframycin ointment) or lotion to the area affected by the bite. In case you are having severe symptoms like intense pain and cramping or high blood pressure then get admitted to the hospital. Get clinically examined by a GP. Your treating doctor may give antivenom (antivenin) to neutralize the spider's venom and prevent it from causing you harm.
