Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Overactive Bladder
I have had problems, not frequently, holding my pee especially when I first get up in the morning. I have to rush to the bathroom and can t seem to hold it enough to keep from peeing slightly....it happens occasionally during the day too....but not all that often. I do have sciatica and have had anal cancer in my past, in remission for almost three years.
Unfortunately, the over-reactive bladder is related to problems with sciatica and anal cancer you had although in remission. To me, should get re-evaluate sciatica and anal cancer with respective specialist. Then, you need to run a bit toilet training, kegel exercises for pelvic floor muscles. Try not to drink too much fluids in the afternoon, especially after 6 p.m.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
