Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello sir or mam I am 33yrs of age 6 feet 3 inches about 220 pounds really lean.In the past months I had teeth pain so I used Amoxicillin and Clavulanate then Penicillin.Well the pain went away but one day at work I had uncontrollable belching and it felt like my heart was trying to leave my body.Visit the E.R two times but doctor said that I am fine but I feel the same.Physical activity is difficult please help me find out the problem.I need to be here alive for my children!
Detailed Answer - As per your query pain in teeth and belching is because of heart burn. At times lower esophageal sphincter does not relaxes properly and acid from stomach enters esophagus again and causes symptoms of belching and extreme discomfort. Due to this it causes poor oral hygiene, bad taste and soreness in mouth.
I would suggest you to take lemon juice, eat raw almonds, apple cedar vinegar to prevent this in future. Antacids such as Omeprazole should be advised at that time. Don't sleep immediately after having food. Keep head side of your bed little high. Drink aloe Vera juice on daily basis.
I would advise you to visit physician once and get ECG done to rule out any underlying heart related cause and properly prescribed medications for your condition.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon, Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
