my 14 month toddler is cutting her bottom molars. she hasn't been wanting me to brush her teeth lately and acts in pain. her breath is getting stinky. tonight i tried to brush her upper teeth (no teeth coming in up top that i can see) and her gums started bleeding badly. not sure that the teething is related given it was on the upper and not lower. normal? anything to look for??
Eruption of first deciduous molar occurs between 12-16 months & this problem might be due to its eruption. You need to maintain her oral hygiene by regular brushing & use fluoridated tooth paste for her like kidodent till 8 years. Avoid giving sticky sugary food. If problem still persists then visit your nearest dentist.
