Suggest Treatment For Temper Tantrums In Child

I have a 4 year old son. I feel unmanageable when it comes to parenting him. If he doesn t want to do something that I ask he throws a temper tantrum and I give in. I know this is not right for him nor I but I don t know what to do. Sometimes I would rather give him his way then deal with the temper tantrum. What can I do to be more proactive in parenting my son? \

Please check with your doctor (neurologist) to see if he has sensory processing disorder (SPD). Its just that the brain cannot process the different sensations accurately thus sometimes overshooting with a response.
If he has SPD, it can be treated by an Occupational therapist.
