Suggest Treatment For Temple Pain With Digestive Problems

My left temple has terrible pain every few seconds and left eye is pouring out water. What can I do? Four days ago I got really sick with deep lung congestion, fever, bad headache, sore throat, and slight neausea. Trying to let my body heal on its own without medicine. The left temple and eye problem didn''t come until two days ago. I am still sick. I am not so nauseated now tho. Every morning I have been gargling and using a nettie pot in and out my nose with salt water. I am 75 yr. old, female, have severe sleep apnea (both central and obstructive) and severe osteoporosis (with compression fractures in my back) and severe digestion problems. I hate to take medicine. What do you suggest?

Hello,

Since, you have so many problems named as osteoporosis with compression fracture, intestinal problems, and pain at left temple with watering of eyes on left side.

You need the following treatment plan, considering your age:
- Get the blood tests for CBC, Vitamin D, Calcium and so on
- Tests of stool for few days
- Ultrasonography of abdomen
- Evaluation for left temple pain and watering of eyes by an ENT or so

All these will a probable diagnosis so that an appropriate diagnosis and management can be done. You will have to take medications as per the findings of reports and clinical evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
