Suggest Treatment For Tender, Painful Stomach With Cramps And Diarrhea
My stomach is tender to the touch. The pain is in the upper area around my chest bone and between my breasts. It has been like this for about 4 or 5 days. On or around the 2nd day, I had constipation. On the 3rd day I had diarrhea and stomach cramps. I took 2 Correctol on the 3rd day, but I did not feel any better until Day 4. It s Day 5, I feel a lot better, but I still have the tenderness. I can t lie down flat to go to sleep because I feel a lot of pressure going to my head along with the stomach tenderness ....
Take water and fluid throughout the day. Stay adequately hydrated. Take antidiarrheal (loperamide) medicines and PPIs, one stat when required to reduce abdominal discomfort. You can take Spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one stat when needed to get rid of abdominal cramps or colic. As abdominal cramps will subside, you can take a little tea with biscuits or a toast / bread. Boil raw bananas, mash it and take it with a little salt and well-cooked rice. Take small meals. Stay at rest and avoid stress (physical / emotional) and anxiety.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
