Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Married son just asked his Dad if he ever experienced testicular tenderness and what could it be, D+Says he doesn t feel any lumps. Can it be from straining himself like mowing the grass or need to worry about something more? Not pain, tenderness and he urinates normally, no fever.
It can be a epiddymoorchitis which is nothing but an inflammation or infection or testes. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan. Once the diagnosis is confirmed you can start on antibiotics preferably ciprofloxacin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
