Suggest Treatment For Testicular Cancer
My nephew has had testicular cancer with a recurrence probably in the past two years. A scan showed several swollen nodes in the abdomen and some lesions (?) in the lungs. He underwent some biopsies this past week. I think the surgeon referenced granulocytosis. What follow should he have? With whom? An oncologist? Hem-onc? what do you suggest? Thanks.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of your relative having multiple swollen glands in the abdomen, chest and lung lesions.
He had testoculr cancer treated 2 years back.
If the report of the biopsies is granulomatous. Hence it may be tuberculosis or sarcoidosis.
This is a good news as tuberculosis is 100% curable if treated properly.
If it is secondary then he has to go to Oncologist.
