Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Dr prescribed me Cipro for pain ive been having in my testicles. I am physically active running and things like that. They suggested i not do anything while taking the Cipro due to chance of rupturing a tendon Is there any truth to this and what are the odds of this happening. k
Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic your doctor might have prescribed for infection. Sometimes, testicular pain gets aggravated due to physical activities, so it was advised to avoid it. Take rest and take the medicines given by your doctor. If problem persists then get USG - Scrotum done for diagnosis of any organic issue.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
