Suggest Treatment For The Burnt Wound On The Lips

I burned my lips while smoking and I put mustard on it right away to get the burn out but as the day went on it went from not really hurting too much and being a bit red to super painful and blistered but popped and dry I was putting vitamin e oil on them all day alternating between that and burts bees chapstick but it just doesn't seem like any of it is doing much of anything anymore. Any suggestions

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain in case if t here is burning of the lips that has lead to blistering and burning, you need to consult a Physician and get evaluated to get checked that whether there is infection in your lips or it is just inflammation..

You can be advised to apply a combination of numbing gel containing Lignocaine and along with it a steroid and antibiotic combination..

Silver preparations can also be advised..

Do cool compresses over the lip..

You should avoid licking or sucking the lips..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
