Suggest Treatment For The Pain Caused Due To Knee Replacement

I had a knee replacement 10 days ago and am in a lot of pain, I try to do the exercises but it s slow going because of the pain, I am taking paracetamols, ibuprofen, and 3 tramadol a day, and am still in pain, the night is the worst, I sleep for 2 hours, then I m tossing around the rest of the night, my appetite isn t good, and i have a lot of nausea, I am putting warm wheat bags on my leg, and was wondering if I could use my circulation booster to ease the pain. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
