Suggest Treatment For The Pain In The Ankle

Hi, I have had pain in my ankle for about 2 months. It started off a little sore and I thought that it was just a muscle strengthening because I started running again. Then it felt like it needed to pop but wasn t popping. Now it occasionally hurts to walk, but it never hurts when I run on it. I never noticed any swelling. Do you know what this could be?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Get your uric acid checked, get your X-rays done. Apply hot pack and Diclofenac gel, take anti-inflammatory drugs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopedic Surgeon
