Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection

Hi, I am mahesh. Frequently i am getting throat infection . My family doctor advised to take haematology report . Now i have T.L.C -7900/cmm and D.L.C 50%L 49 %E 1 %B. and E.S.R - 4mm/1 Hour Blood sugar 142mgs (fasting) 233mgs(Random) .So please tell me what does this means

Thank you for your query on HCM.
I understand your concern.

Your blood report shows that you have raised Eosinophils count. Normally it will be 1 to 6%. In your case it is 50%. It is because of frequent throat infection. I suggest you to take Tab. Amoxicillin 500 mg 1 tab thrice daily for 5 days. Drink warm water. Do salt water gargling 2 to 3 times a day. This will take care of sore throat. If you get frequent headache, nose block,cold you may be having sinusitis which will cause frequent sore throat. You may need to see an ENT doctor if you have above problems.

Your blood sugar level is above normal limits. A fasting blood sugar level of 126mg/dl or above or random blood sugar level of 200mg/dl or above is considered as diabetes. I suggest you to get HbA1c and Glucose Tolerance test which will confirm the diagnosis.
Do not panic till the diagnosis is confirmed.
