Suggest Treatment For Throat Irritation Caused By Inhalation Of Wall Paint
Hey, I have a guy here who s working on the house and I m in a rental (only new to it all) I m 23 and he s currently painting or using some stuff to fill in a hole in the wall, and the smell is intoxicating. to the point where I m starting to feel it in my throat and feel sick. What do I do.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that the chemical fumes that are present in the paint or the stuff used to fill up the hole is causing irritation in throat due to chemical injury as well as it is leading to discomfort and sickness that is a side effect.. The best way it can be resolved is to avoid exposure to the chemicals.. You can also do warm saline gargles and suck throat lozenges to relieve throat irritation. Steam inhalation can help.. Suck ice pops and drink plenty of water.. Take a soft diet and avoid spicy and hard foods.. Maintain a good oral hygiene.. In case if there is no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
