Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain And Fever
Sir ,I was having throat pain and fever (102°)from yesterday .So I consulted a doctor(not specialist).He prescibed me to check blood and gave the following medicines : Cifran 500(2* 5 days) Vitamin tablet Dolo 650(6*5 days) Cough sirup Onpzol antibiotics(2*5 days) 2day , I am feeling better in case of fever but has started coughing . Sir , I am right now doubtful of whthr to take Cifran or not .kindly guide me .

All this symptoms could be because of upper respiratory infection (pharyngitis, laryngitis, epiglotitis) or bronchitis.
It is mostly due to viral infection like EB virus,adenovirus but some time could be bacterial or parasitic.
As you had been already diagnosed then you should continue treatment what has been given.
In my advice,you may require higher antibiotics (quinolones like ciprofloxacin which you are taking) to prevent superinfection with antiinflammatory and other supportive treatment like bronchodilators if there is any breathing problem.
Avoid cold water and carbonated drinks.
Take steam inhalation and duolin nebulizers two or three time a day to get rid off cough.
It would be advisable to see physician with follow-up.
