Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain, Fever And Vomiting

Yesterday morning had 101 fever and vomited. Now throat hurts and it us hurts to breathe, drink, and talk. I have a hemoratic cyst on my rt ovary. Had period this month already. But started bleeding heavily yesterday. Is it all related somehow? Should i go to er? I am asking this for my 14 year old daughter.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of throat pain, fever and vomiting which is condition known as strep throat caused by streptococcal bacteria. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to give a strong course of antibiotic such as Augmentin along with anti-inflammatory medication such as Levocetirizine. Avoid intake of cold carbonated liquids. You should do warm saline gargles. Avoid hot, spicy and fried food and take soft and bland diet. Have rest properly. Visit general physician once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get it examined. You should go for blood tests and throat swab test and start treatment after proper prescription.
