Suggest Treatment For Tightness In Chest Muscle

I ve been working out pretty heavily the past week or so and have started to notice a slight discomfort in my far left side of my chest and a slight discomfort in my arm as well as shortness of breath when I m relaxing (Watching TV, Driving, Sitting down, etc...). I have no shortness of breath when I m active though. Could it just be muscle tightness on my chest from working out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
what is your age? Any other associated problem? like diabetes or hypertension?
Based upon the history, it appear to be muscular pain. But you should visit your physician so that you can be examined well. There is need to get the ECG to look for any acute changes.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
