Suggest Treatment For Tightness In The Middle Of Chest

I don t know wether to see a doctor or ring an ambulance. I have a tight feeling in the middle of my chest. I ve had it for a few weeks. It feels like indigestion I have tried bringing up wind. My heart beat has not been regular. Just don t feel right.

Hi there.
You have not posted your age and other illnesses here but regardless of that with chest tightness and irregular heartbeats you HAVE TO HAVE TO VISIT THE EMERGENCY. The minimum that needs to be done is get an ECG which should help screen for any cardiac problems. That is an emergency.
The other thing you need to rule out is Asthma or Bronchitis which can also cause chest tightness and irregular heartbeats.
Once these 2 are ruled out you and found to be normal you may start treatment for Acid peptic disease and heartburn or reflux.
Hope I've been able to impress upon you the need for an emergency ER visit. Hope this helps.
